Barcelona Orange Chalk Paint® color is a fun one! It's a modern color that really wasn't available until the early 20th century. It's lively, brilliant and bright. Definitely delivers a pop!
This is a great color to use in children's spaces such as bedrooms and playrooms. Put it together with Olive, blues such as Duck Egg or Louis or any neutral - especially white. Add some Black Wax to your finish to achieve a burnt orange. Lovely!
Chalk Paint® is non-toxic and virtually odor free with minimal VOC's. It is safe to use indoors which makes it a favorite rainy or cold day indoor activity. It is also declared to be toy safe, so no worries about using it in your children's rooms.
To seal, finish Chalk Paint® with either Chalk Paint® Wax or Lacquer for protection. This protects your finish allowing you to wipe clean with a soft cloth and also gives it just the tiniest bit of sheen and softness. Please note items being painted for outdoors should be finished in lacquer as wax breaks down in the weather and sunlight. Add Dark, Black or White wax if desired to create the finish you desire.
